"WONDERLAND" is pure, spontaneous energy. The canvas became an arena for urban noise, where every mark is an immediate reaction, much like layered graffiti.
The title captures the joyful disorientation you feel at a loud, brightly lit fairground - everything is overwhelmingly colorful and happily chaotic. The intense interplay of pink, orange, and electric blue against the underlying gray noise was the mood of the moment. The speed and gestural freedom aim to capture that infectious, pop-like cheerfulness. This piece is a moment where conventional rules fade away.
So is the hanging, the canvas is unstretched but ready to hang: The upper side is mounted on a wooden strip, which includes two hangers (please see the close-up images). It is ready to be hung flat on your wall, requiring only two nails. This unconventional display method perfectly matches the character of the painting itself, and further framing is not required.
Alternatively, the canvas can be stretched onto a wooden frame by your local framer. Please note that doing so will reduce the visible size of the artwork, corresponding to the depth of the stretcher bars. Or you can remove the wooden strip and put it flat into a frame, maybe using a matt to enlarge the in total size.
