“Rose Garden (Rendez Vous with Cy)” is a bold diptych in large format — 160 x 280 cm — and one of my personal favorites. The composition unfolds like a wild rose garden: layers of paint evoke blossoms, plants, fleeting traces, and organic movement. Soft greens blend with vivid accents, creating a sense of calm and vibrant energy at once.

This original painting is a tribute to Cy Twombly — a rendezvous with his powerful gestures and his freedom in mark-making. For me, it’s a visual statement: impulsive, layered, open to interpretation. Its scale allows the work to take up space, to surround the viewer physically and emotionally.
