From the legend of King Arthur, the lady of the lake presents the magical Excaliber sword to Arthur. While the legend has two swords (one in the rock and the one presented by the enchantress "lady of the lake", stories call both swords the same although some stories suggest they are different swords. This was a study done as acrylic on canvas as part of the women in myth and literature series of exhibition works.
