Dan rarely works in pure watercolor so this piece is a rare example, though it is believed by the artist to have been lost or destroyed in a flood that damaged his home in San Marcos along with several other works from that time period. Excellent museum quality film art copy photography by the artist from that time however permits the creation of limited print editions on watercolor paper created from the original lost watercolor painting, even at the large format of this stunning edition.
