I am a self-taught watercolorist with a penchant for mermaids, octopuses, sea turtles and all things aquatic. Art has opened up my life to beautiful people and wonderful occasions. In 2019, art took me to France where I completed an artist-in-residence program at the Chateau d’Orquevaux, and again, in October 2021 to a program in Greece, The Skopelos Foundation for the Arts. I find a state of freedom from outside disturbance and anxiety when painting. It transforms my worldview. There is a small part of myself in each piece. I particularly delight in hearing what others see when they view my work and what stories they have to tell to me.
