Artemis / Diana : The Huntress
Represents independence, autonomy, freedom, sisterhood and a strong connection to nature. She is “The Wild Woman” who is self-reliant, goal-oriented, competitive, protector of the vulnerable. She embodies self-sufficiency, physical vigor, and grants the gift of focused aim and the courage to protect one's boundaries. She's the part of the female psyche that is independent of male approval and deeply connected to nature and women’s communities. Today, she is the "Girl Boss" or the solo traveler. She manifests as the woman who values her "sisterhood" of friends above all, thrives in competitive sports or outdoor hobbies, and fiercely protects her time and freedom. She’s the one who doesn't feel she "needs" a partner to be complete.
• Mythology: Artemis roams the moonlit forests, bow in hand, accompanied by her nymphs. She is the daughter of Zeus who requested eternal chastity to remain untethered. She is the protector of the young and the wild, answering to no man and finding her sanctuary in the rhythm of the wilderness.
