Many of my paintings are inspired by the brilliant sunrises and sunsets of Africa, as well as the pulsating rhythm of life on its timeless savannahs. "River of Light" was inspired by a safari I took along the Mara River in Kenya. The painting takes me back to that magical moment when I watched a large elephant, with calm waters reflecting the colorful sunset in the foreground. Through this painting, I wanted to capture the serene beauty of the sunset over the timeless African land.
