This painting was inspired by a documentary
I watched about how wolves changed the
rivers in the Yellowstone region after their
reintroduction. As the wolves returned, it
changed the grazing patterns of the elk &
deer allowing the forests to regenerate,
bringing back the Aspen trees, songbirds
and beaver; thereby, making river and
stream banks more stable and altering
the flow of the rivers. I hope the viewer
will find inspiration and awe in the
interconnectivity of life and the environment.
