I enjoy the challenge of painting the beautiful and elegant leopard. I feel fortunate to have observed these wild and elusive cats many times during my travels. This particular painting, titled "Leopard Repose", takes me back to a morning where I had the amazing opportunity to watch this large cat for several hours. I love the restful yet alert expression of the leopard in this piece.
