“During a journey through Louisiana’s Atchafalaya basin I was  inspired by the gnarly textures of ancient cypress trees and the trailing tendrils of  spanish moss. The glow of the morning light dancing across the water created the perfect backdrop for the great egret resting by the water's edge."
