One of nature's most spectacular events on earth is the great migration. Every year nearly 2 million wildebeest and zebras undertake the perilous crossing of the Mara river in search of better grazing. Fraught with danger including the river's raging currents and predatory beasts lurking in the shallows makes this 'the world's most quintessential struggle'. I wanted to capture the entire drama of what has to be one of the most amazing sites I have ever witnessed.
