The words and phrases on this canvas come from children and their families at the Brent’s Place location in Aurora, Colorado. During a community event in October of 2023, Kristina set up a canvas with markers and paint, and asked the members of Brent’s Place to write down anything they would like; a wish, a hope, a dream, a message to the universe. Using the words written on the canvas that day, Kristina then created a large grid, using many of the words and phrases from that day. Kristina hopes that these words from patients and families serve as messages of hope.
