"An arborist, high in a tree, fell sixty feet to the earth below. He crashed into the grass, his head only a precious few feet from a stone walkway. Serious injuries, much pain, and a changed life. Six months later, he sat in my studio, requesting a painting that would capture the spirit of that day, serving as a visual reminder of the gift of life, of the preciousness of each moment.
