Marcus Murray is a Jamaican-American born in Omaha, Nebraska. He spent many summers in Denver before moving to the city after graduating high school. He has had a life-long love of art as a way to tell stories of resistance, history and mythology of peoples from across the globe.

“My illustrations are inspired by these same pillars [resistance, history, and mythology] with a heavy dash of comics and hip hop. All of my illustrations, paintings, and murals are concocted with a narrative trying to claw its way out of my head.”
