I was in middle school when George Floyd was murdered. After his murder, I was trying to make sense of what happened. As I read the news, I wanted to make a piece to express the events of the time in a visual way. I collaged images and headlines from newspapers that connected individual people’s stories into a meaningful art piece to create awareness that Black Lives Matter.
