My father enlightened me with soul-deepening values through "Pearls of Wisdom" he shared throughout his life. "One man's trash is another man's treasure," "Fall seven times and stand up eight," and "Life is the art of drawing without an eraser" are some of the ones he shared. It made me think, introspect and look within. These pearls of wisdom may be few in words but plenty in meaning. So here I dedicate this painting to my father, who encouraged me to look inwards, build an authentic me, and fully embrace all my strengths and weaknesses. All the light this painting emits is those pearls of wisdom that will brighten any space.
"Pearls of Wisdom" is 36 X 36 inches and painted on canvas with white, silver, gold, green, blue, and grey textures created with pallet knives, brushes, and sand.
