Sunflowers in Sync was inspired by a field of sunflowers behind my pharmacy in southwest Austin! This large field gets mowed down by the city at the end of August so I still have time to do some more painting. I also cut a few and arrange them in still life settings that I have painted before. And, as an added bonus, after they are spent, I put a vase of them on my patio table and they attract yellow finches. Sunflowers are my favorite!
