Several steps: Began with a 9” clear glass circle base. Cut out an 8” circle of French Vanilla, wrapped it in heavy paper, and hit it once with a hammer to break it up. Glued the broken pieces to the clear circle and added two colors of transparent blue frit. Next I cut out another 9” clear glass circle and hit it with a hammer then glued the pieces on too of the vanilla pieces. This allowed bubbles to release during the full fuse. Lastly, the layered piece was slump fired in a wavy bowl mold.
