Thrasher at Fletcher Bowron Square (2021)

Available in various sizes, the piece was originated digitally. This piece was inspired by a photo I took while biking through Downtown Los Angeles. With the photo as a reference, I worked in Procreate on iPad Pro. I miss my freewheeling skater days when I was 16-17 yrs old. If I tried to shred the top of that bench like the skater is doing in my picture now I would surely die. Do not attempt, lol! On a more serious note, this piece explores interests I have in working up rich colors in a flat painting style that can embrace a lot of design elements.
