This work offers a more abstract interpretation of the Cathedral Ranges, focusing on North Peak. Rather than a detailed representation, the painting simplifies forms and uses expressive colour to suggest the essence of the landscape. The intention was to capture the feeling of the place, the way the peak appears through shifting light and space, rather than a literal view. It reflects a move toward abstraction while still holding a connection to the land.
