Before renovation, the barrio’s weathered facades, bold color, and daily life provided a window to the character behind the historic adobe walls and an echo of Barrio Viejo’s past.
This painting will make its debut at the upcomingTucson Barrio Painters 10x10x10 Show. Ten artists have each created three 10x10 inch paintings depicting scenes from Tucson's historic and colorful barrios, capturing the essence of the city's older neighborhoods.
