Karma Calls is a reallocation of once abandoned public service structures to create art which elevates the collective community. Within the LUNA Fête campus the installation revitalizes dated and decommissioned pay phone boxes along Lafayette Street with illuminated messages of happiness, hope, and hustle in an effort to encourage an aura of inspiration, action, and positivity in public space. The work seeks to elevate and beautify once ignored infrastructure as an asset instead of potential eyesore. An optimistic installation with the intent is to visually showcase the concept of karma, essentially that what you create in the world is what you receive in return.
