Mandala represents hope, power, and resilience of the residents of the Lower 9th Ward community. Ferdinand honors the women who created a space for her identity, awareness, and consciousness. Legacy is a tribute to her grandmothers Inola Copelin Ferdinand and Marjorie Belcina Pajeaud.
