This stitched paper piece was done using leftover scraps of paper from other projects to create the image of a quilt. This particular pattern called Snail's Trail is a traditional design using increasingly smaller (or larger, depending on how you look at it) triangles to create a swirling, spiraling effect. Also mentioned in previous works is the idea of unfinished business and multiple meanings of everything from endless paperwork required for filing forms, to frustration of rebuilding homes, to creating new works of art with the spirit of resurgence and continues to move too slowly as I absorb all that is happening in our world today.
