This painting is my homage to Little Freddie King ! a blues musician who is already 80 years old and still very active performing weekly on venues like the BJ´s (Bywater) and the DBA (Frenchmen) , it´s common to see him at the French Quarter Festival and the Blues Festival as well. One of the reasons I moved to New Orleans is the Blues, my favorite music genre. I painted him like a giant above some NOLA colorful houses and escorted by roosters like little bodyguards!
