In 1993 Steve Kline created a whimsical fence to establish this neighborhood park as a play spot for younger kids. It wasn't until the fence was complete that the park was renamed "Confetti Park," attesting to the success of the project! The community has even adopted the theme, and created a non-profit group called Confetti Kids, that later, in 2002, commissioned Kline independently to create confetti gates for the entrance to the park.
