Artist/Musician Tony Green was born in Naples, Italy, and was raised in the fabled city of New Orleans where his jazz group, "Tony Green & Gypsy Jazz," and his murals have made Green a local cultural icon. He splits his time between the two artistic meccas of New Orleans and Venice, Italy, where he has lived and painted for the past 40 years.

Green's artwork originates from what he describes as "the school of honest observation" which include his murals, oil paintings, watercolors, linoleum cuts, drawings, gouache and metal plate etchings. "I love to paint landscapes and people with a goal to capture the immediacy and Truth of a given moment with a light and color that celebrates God's greatest creation: humanity."
