Rebecca Diane Bordelon grew up in a small town in Louisiana and has always had an interest in art. Her love for jewelry began with a jewelry-making kit and a “How to Make Jewelry” book that her brother gave her. It didn’t take her long to figure out that she had a passion for fashion. She received an Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising and, after graduation, she had the opportunity to work for several companies designing jewelry. Bordelon felt that the best way to honor her family was to name her business after those that helped her get here. The name Valois is her grandparents’ last name and her mother's maiden name.
