Rashida Ferdinand studied ceramic sculpture at Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts (MFA) and Howard University College of Fine Arts (BFA). She has exhibited her work at Galerie Kho Kho, Martinique; the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.;Rush Arts Gallery, NY; Hammonds House, Atlanta, Shimane Art Museum, Matuse, Japan; and New Orleans Triennial, New Orleans Museum of Art.
