  • Artist: Pam Vivien Keaton

Pam Vivien Keaton primarily works in encaustics and mixed media, creating contemporary landscapes with a surreal atmosphere. She studied drawing and design under one of Louisiana’s premier landscape artists, Elmore Morgan.  Her paintings were selected to create St. Tammany Parish Fair and Washington Parish Fair silkscreen posters.  To give you an idea of her age, her soldered copper pieces were available for purchase in the 1984 Shoppe at the New Orleans World’s Fair.  She was born in New Orleans and was raised in Covington.  She has a small farm with a few llamas, horses, and miniature cheviot sheep. Dial-A-Llama was originally conceived when she was calling her llamas at feeding time.
