Jill Shampine is a multidisciplinary artist currently living and working in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her art practices include mixed media painting, sewing, weaving and sculpture. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting from the State University of New York at Oswego, located near her hometown of Syracuse, New York. Jill has shown her artwork at locations throughout New Orleans with a focus on juried art shows. Her work has been exhibited at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and at several prestigious art festivals including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. She displays her work every weekend in Jackson Square where her artwork sells to international clientele.
