Growing up on the outskirts of New Orleans, Louisiana in what is called Acadiana (or Cajun Country), Brandon Robert experienced a healthy mix of city and wetland life.
In 2013, Robert joined the Nola Defender online newspaper as a contributing photographer. For two years he covered all things cultural New Orleans. From 2015 to 2017, Robert lived in the United Kingdom and traveled throughout Europe. He now resides back home in New Orleans and regularly contributes photos to ViaNolaVie.
