Multiple layers of blues with gold highlights are painted onto a glass surface and fired in my kiln.  Added to the surface are various layers of colored glass and mark making to give "Echoed Mosaic" a mid-century vibe. The glass is adhered to a 24"x6"x2" wood panel and is ready to hang. The fused glass design is continued onto the painted wood panel, adding to the texture and interest of this midcentury modern design.

I added a glass "tattoo" design on the whitewashed side of the panel which mimics the front and adds interest.
