The Boot “Vulnerability”

Inspired by Rick Owens' iconic Black Boots, my piece delves into the emotional depth of the designer's journey, resonating with the experience of feeling 'different' and finding beauty in the unconventional. Through a palette of purples and dark greens reminiscent of Owen's early designs, juxtaposed with dyed military fabrics in black, I pay homage to his aesthetic while infusing my personal narrative. The striking red hues beneath the boots' caps symbolize the unveiling of vulnerability, inviting viewers to explore the layers of emotion and identity beneath the surface.
