World War I American tunic belonging to a member of the 308th Trench Mortar Battery. On the right shoulder is the insignia of the 32nd Infantry Division, the 3rd Army, and a bullion bomb to signify trench mortars. There are also two bullion chevrons denoting one year overseas. The left sleeve bears sergeant stripes.
