Ephemera grouping belonging to Mabel Buell (1896-1982), the first female scenic painter in the 1910s who came to work on Broadway. Buell came from a family of artists and set designers. She went on to form her own scenic design company, and her career was so prolific that she made the transition from stage to film set design.
Grouping contains nine different stationery/envelope/business card designs (some in multiples), plus one original 1920s colored pencil drawing by Mabel.
