Organ rebuilt and reinstalled by Robert Rowland in First Methodist Episcopal Church, St. Johnsville, New York. The organ was originally built by William Price & Co., New York. It was sold secondhand to the St. Johnsville church in 1898 from the Methodist Church of Hancock, New York and rebuilt by Rowland in 1918-19. Rowland noted the good quality of the Price manual and pedal organ. He was later hired to replace the organ altogether in 1952 with an electric version. The old Price organ was given to Bob Palmatier of Pine Plains, New York. It was then transferred to a Massachusetts museum.

Rowland was a pipe organ builder from 1918-1978. He carved more than 70 church organs.
