Piece of wood from the supposed French Revolution tribunal building. The location was later debunked, but not at the time this wood was taken from location. Transcription says: "Piece of the old Tribunal Rue Gozlin near the Church St. Germain des Prés. Procured in 1875 when the Boulevard was opened in the Latin Quarter, Paris. C.R.S."
