Depicts a freight train, New York Central Railroad, heading north on the Mohawk and Malone section, about to cross Knights Farm, Herkimer, New York. The line was forced to close in June 1979 when Mill Brook Bridge washed out past Engert Sawmill. The bridge was never fixed.
