Pair of cartes de visite depicting Nehemiah F. Hallock (1816-1881) and Dora Golden Hallock (1817-1897). The Hallocks were married in Ulster County, New York in 1841. Nehemiah was later a butcher and vegetable dealer at 22 Liberty St., Utica, New York. He participated in several seances held by the Eddy Brothers and testified against them in Albany court as part of a swindling case.
