Bottle from the A.R. Champney Co., Elyria, Ohio. Arthur Russell Champney was a liquor dealer, supplying alcohol to approximately thrity-two local saloons. Champney was also the creator of a whiskey named "Gold Dust Rye" and a carbonated non-alcoholic tonic called "Liquid Force." Champney was sued when Liquid Force stock shares that he sold to community members failed to yield a return.
