I enjoyed making this piece a lot more mixed media heavy, with clothing made of hand marbled paper, moths created from fabric and wire, trees of wire and yarn, and stitching through the paper itself. The snow has been collaged with white fabric before painting for added texture to the drifts. This piece is about yearning, longing for something to pass, for the winter to end, for a dream to be realized.
