This drawing was created later as a companion piece to my first self portrait done outside of school, "Visual Thinker". The idea of adding surreal surprises into my portrait work would persist throughout all future creations. Fun fact: the face I am making was accidentally captured by a friend as I clumsily bashed my elbow on something while posing for a photo.
