Jenn Shifflet’s oil paintings embody tranquility. The cloud and plant‐like forms are soft and dreamy. The calm, serene, watery and sky‐like imagery gives a feeling of light scattered across a surface. She develops her paintings through many layers of mostly transparent paints built up over time. This results in a sense of space and luminosity. Shifflet says, “My hope is that this work provides a moment of peace for all who view it.”
