Artist’s Statement: The park is a favorite place for me, especially Kennedy Park in Hayward. It is an artist’s dream to be afforded so many images to draw or paint. I spent time at the park with grandchildren, who would do homework first and then play until sundown. This artwork is about my memory of those days.
