Burr Elm vase

This hand turned Burr Elm small vase was made from locally sourced hardwood which has been wet turned and finish with several coats of Danish oil. It displays distinctive Elm characteristics with burrs, swirling grain patterns, and bark inclusions. The cracks in the piece have been intentionally made larger with burnt edges to accentuate the visual and aesthetics of the piece. It could be used to display small dried flowers.
