A neurographic small artwork using three horizontal lines, three veritcal lines, three large circles and twelve small circles.
The title Anomalous seemed an appropriate name for this small study that has become an Original Artwork Greetings Card. Anomalous means, according to the Cambridge Dictionary, different from the usual or not in agreement with something else. This is certainly different to what I, as the artist Annie McLean, am known to paint. Neurographic Art is something that I have been experimenting with over this last year and is something I wish to develop further. I have already produced several pieces of Neurographic Art which is now finding an audience and collectors. Because it is so different to what I am known for painting, I have decided to use a pseudonym or a Studio Name as an alternative. I was given a few middle names at birth and all of them surnames which happen to be the maiden names of my great-grandmother, grandmother and my mother. It is time to let the ancestral names come out to find another 'voice' in the creative world. It is time to announce Carson, the abstract creative within the artist Annie McLean.
