In the warmth of a summer's day this horse takes the weight off its feet and enjoys a lazy graze. Featuring one of the horses that belonged to the Riding for the Disabled group in Blairgowrie where I used to volunteer,
this painting has been created in oils using a reductive technique where the image evolves through removal of paint with cloths and other items.
