This painting was inspired by an early morning walk when there was a heavy mist hanging in the air. The scene is composed almost entirely from imagination although I used my memory and photographs of the walk and location to aid my composition. I have used a loose impressionist style to create a sense of atmosphere. I have added some sheep grazing, almost hidden from view by the mist. Painting is signed bottom right.
