Ash hollow form

This small Ash hollow form shows the distinctive difference between the dark heart wood and lighter sap wood of the Ash tree. The ring is made from a piece of Rowan wood for the base, so the piece can be angled to many positions. The inside has been painted black and coated with a matt lacquer. Finished with three coats of Danish oil, which is food safe.
